“My son attended Provo Canyon School in 2005 and he went from being a troubled teen with bipolar disorder who could not attend school or take medication successfully and was hospitalized frequently to a stable young adult male who was able to succeed in his classes and get good grades with the level of structure provide to these kids. Parent involvement is done over the phone and with home visits depending on therapist requests. Great programs academically, socially and excellent therapy my son felt great about himself when leaving there and we did have a much improved relationship. he is attending public school now and is self sufficient and turning 17.”

“I was a student at Provo Canyon. The teachers there are great. They really are the ones who make the place so great. The staff is so so. If anything needs inprovement its the staff that work on the units. Some seem to be on power trips. For the girls campus they need more activities. And the level of parent involvment depends on each student. But overall its a pretty good place. I learned alot there. It saved my life!”

“I was also a PCS student from 2003-2004. The teachers are not that skilled, you are not allowed to drink water during the school day, and only allowed to use the bathroom twice. You aren't allowed to speak during passing periods and you have to be in either a staff or teachers sight at all times. There are no extracurricular activities and no parent envolvement. The entire school has cement floors with carpet over it causing me to have really bad pain in my knees resulting in knee problems. They wouldnt let me excercise due to my knees and although they have a swimming pool you have to be a certain status to use it and I wasn't so i got no excercise for almost four months. If you are thinking about sending your child to this school please read some reviews from past patients and their experiences!”

“I wasn't a PCS parent, I was a student. The school turned around my life and gave me the opportunity to succeed in life. I have become a better person and strong on my morals. The only thing I do have to say is that PCS in a way 'brainwashes' students to the 'extreme goody goody' which is pretty unrealistic in the real world. All the kid's gotta do is come to a happy-medium when they return home. I definitel recommend the school-and this is coming from a former bratty student! I left at the highest status possible and it has definitely paid off.”
