“SJHS is very aware of students' needs. Their teachers communicate with each other and with parents in order to figure out ways to best help the students. The music program is amazing and the track program invites all students, atheletes or not, to participate as a team and work toward a common goal. The PTA is very supportive and I am convinced that parents have a strong voice within the school. Parents work with teachers to create extra-curricular opportunities that are safe, social, and enriching for their students. There is a strong sense of pride among students, parents, and teachers within this school. A part of that pride comes from a principal who empowers and allows teachers to be creative in their approaches to student learning. I am pleased to be a part of SJHS.”
