Utah-based professional sports teams include several teams, including the Utah Jazz, Utah State University and the University of Utah, as well as the Salt Lake City Jazz. The fact that the state uses the letter "Z" in its team name has cemented Utah's status as one of the nation's most popular sports markets. In a nod to the spread of such team names, former Utah Governor Gary Herbert and former U.S. Representative Mike Black called Utah "a place where sports fans go to get their Z's.

Having already established this precedent, several "Z" teams have entered the Utah market in recent years, including the Salt Lake City Jazz, Utah State University, and the University of Utah. None of these teams will remain, however, as the franchises have either been merged or renamed.

But this offers a chance for the Utah nickname "Z" to continue. The Orem Owlz will play under the name Provo Angels, which takes its name from the parent Anaheim Angels franchise.

Since the early 1990s, other professional teams in Utah have used the nickname "Z" for their teams. But since 2000, new and renamed franchises have tended to abandon the Z-name fad, opting instead for more traditional names like Salt Lake City Thunder, Salt Utah Jazz and Utah State University.

The only notable pro franchise in Utah to have dispensed with the letter "Z" when it entered the market in the 1990s was KJZZ-TV, owned by Larry H. Miller from 1993 until the station was sold in 2016 and bearing the name "Jazz" before the call ended. BYU, like Saint Mary's, has the best chance this year because of its full-season performance. Since its last win over Utah, BYU has gone on a three-game losing streak, including a loss to Utah State at a normally packed Marriott Center.

Ollie wants to change the definition of win and success with meaningful data from players and games. UYSA is thrilled that a company like Oillie is trying to improve football culture by helping teams measure development. Measure things, it helps kids celebrate what they're doing well regardless of the results of the game, and helps them know they can work on improving. He believes meaningful data can play an important role in winning and losing in youth sports and educating coaches, parents and players to focus on development and growth.

Oillie says opposition to compliance with the above guidelines will have a major impact on whether or not the sport is played in the foreseeable future.

The college football season is teetering on a cliff edge and approaching its cancellation, and no one has turned up at the convention despite their protests. I ask people to keep their social distance and wear masks, but everyone here is aware of the precautions we impose on our members, supposedly inspired by a man named God, before the crowd is beaten up.

As political columnist Brian noted, he has attracted attention for following a number of rules, such as avoiding meetings with women and avoiding events where alcohol is served when his wife is not present. He noted that Pence not only wears his faith on his sleeve, but he wears a "Jesus jersey all over" and notes that he wears his "faith" "on his sleeve.
